Yechezkel Portowicz is a senior executive and organizational leader with more than two decades of experience in education, nonprofit management, and public service. Living in Ramat Hasharon with his family, he has dedicated his career to advancing education in Israel through strategic leadership, resource development, and innovative program management.

He currently serves as CEO of the Jaffa Institute in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, bringing extensive expertise in organizational management, fundraising, marketing, and community engagement. Over the years, he has built strong networks across the education sector and beyond, guiding initiatives that have impacted thousands of students and families.

Yechezkel holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from Ben Gurion University, an M.A. in Educational Administration from Touro College, and a B.Ed. from Bayt Vagan College. He also completed the Directors and Senior Officers Course with Lahav Management Development and is an active member of the Directors Association in Israel.

Before his professional career, Yechezkel served in the Israel Defense Forces as a Sergeant Major in the Nahal Corps, gaining leadership, discipline, and resilience that continue to shape his management approach today.

Fluent in English and fully proficient in digital systems, he combines vision with practical execution—always striving to foster growth, excellence, and equal opportunities in education and organizational life.
